Shimadzu detectors are common in Japanese-built production lines and in the semiconductor and automotive supply chains that grew around them. The machines outlive their support window comfortably, which leaves owners with a working detector and no consumable channel. This is that consumable. Fit when the helium signal is gone or calibration will not complete while pump-down and pressure readings remain normal. Handle with clean gloves, and recalibrate against a calibrated leak after the change. Manufactured by Taixing to the original dimensions. Filament repair and re-welding of the original assembly is also available where the mount is undamaged.
