2000037625 / A459843 Filament and Collector Assembly — Alcatel Adixen ASM 10 to ASM 192 T Filament and electron collector supplied as one assembly for the 2G.1 cell of the Alcatel / Adixen ASM range. Pfeiffer lists it as 2000037625; A459843 is the same kit in Adixen-era documents. The two parts fail for different reasons but they live in the same cell, so changing one without inspecting the other wastes the shutdown. The filament burns out or evaporates; the collector gets coated with cracked pump oil and sputtered material until part of the arriving ion current no longer registers. A detector that regained some sensitivity after a filament change but not all of it is usually telling you the collector is next. On a machine that has stood idle, or one running on an oil-sealed roughing pump with a neglected mist filter, plan on the assembly rather than the filament alone. Supplied as a Taixing-manufactured equivalent, complete and ready to fit. Recalibrate against a calibrated leak afterwards.
