16504 Ion Source Filament for LINXON LX218 Helium Leak Detectors Replacement ion source filament for the LINXON LX218 helium leak detector. The LX218 uses the same filament as the INFICON UL series and the Leybold Phoenix line — the part carried as 16504 — which is why availability for this machine is better than its owners usually expect. Symptoms that point at the filament and not at the vacuum system: the detector reaches its normal test pressure and the gauge readings look right, but the helium signal is flat, the calibration routine will not complete, or the controller reports an emission fault. If the machine cannot reach test pressure at all, the fault is upstream and a new filament will not fix it. Supplied as a Taixing-manufactured equivalent, dimensionally interchangeable with the original. Any quantity from one piece.
