Description
Suitable for German HiPace turbomolecular pump filters, available in 4mm and 0.8mm mesh sizes. 4mm mesh is used as a splinter guard to prevent damage from bolts or weld slag. 0.8mm mesh is used to prevent deposition of coating materials on rotor blades. Finer mesh increases flow resistance, which reduces pumping speed and extends the time to reach process/ultimate vacuum.
