Vacuum pump repair and service kits
A service kit bundles the parts a given pump consumes on a scheduled overhaul — vanes, tip seals, O-rings and gaskets, shaft seals, filters, bearings and, where relevant, the correct fluid. Buying the kit rather than the individual parts matters because the kit is matched to a pump variant: two pumps with the same model number but different build codes often take different seal sets.
Order against the pump's model and serial number, or against the OEM kit number if you have it. Check what the kit contains before comparing prices — a minor kit and a major kit for the same pump differ by a factor of several in scope, and the cheap one may not include the bearings that are actually worn. Ask about the service interval the kit is designed for, and about the tooling needed: some overhauls need a puller or a fixture that is worth buying once.

What is inside a repair or service kit?
It depends on the pump family, but a service kit typically holds the elastomer seals, O-rings, gaskets and filters replaced at every service; an overhaul kit adds bearings, vanes or tip seals and shaft seals. Each product page lists the actual contents for that kit.
When should I do a full overhaul instead of a routine service?
When ultimate pressure no longer recovers after an oil and seal change, when the pump is noisy or draws more current than rated, or when the running hours have passed the manufacturer's overhaul interval. Bearing noise in particular should not be postponed — a failed bearing can take the rotors with it.
Can I fit the kit myself?
Seal and filter kits are routinely fitted in-house with the manual. Bearing replacement and rotor work need the correct pullers, torque values and clearance measurement — those are worth sending out, or ask us for the service. Either way, do not mix old and new seals in the same joint.
How do I know which kit revision fits my pump?
By serial number. Several popular models changed seal cross-sections or scroll geometry mid-production, and the wrong revision will either not seal or not fit at all. Send the model and serial number and we will confirm the revision before shipping.
